Default settings

How do I use the standard order default?

  • Fields can be pre-assigned in order to reduce processing times, save operating steps and avoid possible errors. These default settings are displayed as soon as a new item is entered.
  • To assign defaults to individual fields, move the cursor to an empty position.
  • Then select the following in the default settings on the left:
    • product type (window, entry door, etc.)
    • material
    • profile system
    • surrounding frame code
    • all articles belonging to the frame
    • sash material and code
    • all articles belonging to the sash
    • further details
  • If you want to enter a different product type (e.g. a sliding door) after entering a window, the default setting must be accordingly changed.

How do I use the templates or the personalised default settings?

  • Select the item that contains the values you want to be saved in your template.
  • Use the right-hand mouse button to click in the first line in the left-hand input area on the right by the “Default settings” heading in the “Description” > “Save as template” column.
  • Enter a description for the template and confirm the desired template values by checking the relevant attributes in the list below.
  • Click the blue button (“Save and close”) to create the template: it can now be used for future offers.
  • As soon as you create a new offer, you can double-click on “Select template” in the first line in the left-hand input area (on the right by the “Default settings” heading) to select the desired template. The template values are now applied to the item.
  • Enter the item in the left-hand area under “Item data – New item”, not in the central area.
  • Templates can be edited at any time via the “Master data > Defaults > Template top attribute” menu.
