Actions for relationship management enquiries

With the “Relationship management” enquiry type, you can add notes, read the enquiry history and carry out the standard actions at any time. Two special actions are also available: “Invite designer” and “Visit designer”.

  • Invite designer: You can click on the “Invite designer” action to enter a reminder for a designer's visit to Finstral. The input screen allows you to select the particular showroom for the designer's visit with the date and time, and optionally add a note.
  • Visit designer: You can click on the “Visit designer” action to enter a reminder for a visit by Finstral to the designer's premises. The input screen allows you to select the location of the meeting (designer's or alternative address) with the date and time, and optionally add a note.

The “Relationship management” enquiry type will always remain open.

However, if the relationship or the acquisition process is terminated, this can be recorded using the “Cancel enquiry” action available under “More actions”. When you click on this action, enter the reason for cancellation and cancel the enquiry, the designer will then be marked as “Inactive”. In the Excel download, you will immediately see that no further relationship management is being performed for this contact. This process can be reversed by reopening the enquiry with the “Relationship management” enquiry type.

Password-free access to the Compendium (authorisation only by Finstral employees)

With password-free authentication via a ‘Magic Link’, we offer architects secure and uncomplicated access to the Compendium, our digital library of all Finstral documents (formerly Extranet). Interested architects can request access to the Compendium via a registration form on the finstral.com website. For enquiries of the ‘relationship management’ type, Finstral can grant access in Contacts and send a Magic Link to the enquirer. The Magic Link allows secure Compendium login with just one click and without a password. It is valid for one week and can be requested again at any time. If a contact has already been granted access in the past, the Magic Link will be sent automatically by Contacts the next time and no further confirmation by Finstral is required. As the person processing the enquiry, I can also deny a contact access to the Compendium and specify the reason. The contact will then not receive a Magic Link or access to the Compendium. In this case, we ask that you notify the contact outside of Contacts.
The Magic Link is only sent to an architect after an enquiry has been made via finstral.com and cannot be triggered manually in Contacts.
As soon as a ‘relationship management’ enquiry is created manually, access to the Compendium is automatically granted.
If the architect requests a Magic Link at a later date via the finstral.com website, it will be sent to them without further involvement from Finstral.
As soon as the ‘Relationship management’ request is cancelled or the corresponding contact has been anonymised in accordance with the existing anonymisation rules, access to the Compendium is automatically denied.

Note

Authorisation for the Compendium can only be granted by Finstral employees. Architects requesting access via dealer partners are asked to register using the registration form on finstral.com.
