Create and retrieve customers
How do I create a new customer and how do I retrieve an existing customer?
- Note that in order to enter an offer, a customer number must be entered.
- To create a new customer:
- Click in the menu Master data > customers and click on the icon "insert record".
- Add:
- General data > Short name
- General data > Language (printed document is generated in this language)
- General data > Country
- Any internal customer number under “variable master data fields”
- Addresses > Address incl. phone no. etc.
- Addresses > Delivery address (if appropriate)
- Bank details > VAT no.
- Bank details > Currency
- Contact person > Contact person for customer
- Look up any existing customers in the “Customers” field (F9 or right-click > Lookup) and modify them using the “Modify customer” icon.
- The full customer list can be found under Master data > Customers > using F5 or Filter.
