Create and retrieve customers

How do I create a new customer and how do I retrieve an existing customer?

  • Note that in order to enter an offer, a customer number must be entered.
  • To create a new customer:
    • Click in the menu Master data > customers and click on the icon "insert record".
    • Add:
      • General data > Short name
      • General data > Language (printed document is generated in this language)
      • General data > Country
      • Any internal customer number under “variable master data fields”
      • Addresses > Address incl. phone no. etc.
      • Addresses > Delivery address (if appropriate)
      • Bank details > VAT no.
      • Bank details > Currency
      • Contact person > Contact person for customer
  • Look up any existing customers in the “Customers” field (F9 or right-click > Lookup) and modify them using the “Modify customer” icon.
  • The full customer list can be found under Master data > Customers > using F5 or Filter.
