Further actions for advanced users

Take over enquiry

Using this action you can independently take over responsibility for processing an enquiry that is currently in the hands of another colleague. This action is especially helpful if the current processor cannot assign the enquiry to you at the moment. This action is reserved exclusively for supervisors or colleagues on the same team. Other colleagues cannot take over an enquiry independently.

Processing multiple enquiries at the same time

The enquiry list allows you can mark several enquiries using the marker on the left in the header line and perform one action for all of them on the right-hand side. This saves you a lot of time when processing enquiries.

The following actions are possible:

  • Close enquiry(ies)
  • Put on hold/Put offer(s) on hold
  • Cancel enquiry(ies)

If an action is not possible for all the marked enquiries (e.g. “Close enquiry” is not available for the enquiry type “Offer”, or “Put offer on hold” is not available for the enquiry status “Open enquiry”), this will appear as transparent and you cannot click on it. It is therefore recommended that you filter similar enquiry types and statuses before processing multiple enquiries.

Example

As, in this example, two enquiries are marked although no offer has been submitted yet, you cannot click on “Put offer on hold” (it appears as transparent).

Link enquiry

  • You can click on “Link enquiry” in the detailed view to link an enquiry with another contact person. This mainly occurs when a private client is planning a building project together with an architect and sends an enquiry to Finstral.
  • You can search for the contact to be linked in the existing contacts, or create a new contact.
  • For data protection reasons, only one contact type - either commercial or planner - can be linked
