Cancel or reopen an enquiry
Using “Cancel enquiry” always indicates a negative outcome of an enquiry. Enquiries can be cancelled and also reopened. This applies to all enquiry types.
- Click on “Cancel enquiry” in the detailed view on the right-hand side.
- You can now select the appropriate detail for who cancelled the enquiry and for what reason (Finstral or the prospective customer). You can also describe the reason for cancelling the enquiry in more detail using free text.
- Confirm by clicking “Cancel enquiry”.
- If you have accidentally clicked on “Cancel enquiry”, you can cancel the cancellation and reactivate the last active enquiry status by clicking on “Reopen enquiry” on the right-hand side.

The end customer has accepted an offer from a competitor.
Using “Cancel enquiry” you can document the negative conclusion and the corresponding reason.
